“Sure, we’re going through tough times. No one denies that. But those that survive, those that get through the darkness and into the light will be those of sound body and mind, those with a connection to God. You can be of the few that make it. With a new year on the horizon, this is the perfect time to start. I believe in you. I know you can do it.”

There’s a lot talk in so-called conservative circles about “taking the country back.” Whether it’s talk of the midterms, cries of “Arm up!” or my personal favorite: “Trump in 2024!”, the talk appears to be accelerating at a rapid pace.
I’ve got news for anyone thinking along those lines: you’re not taking the country back. America is dead. It’s gone. You can’t take it back. What you can take back is your life.
It’s easy to talk about taking the country back, because the blame for America’s downfall can be conveniently projected onto others: “It’s the Democrats, it’s the socialists, it’s the idiots in face masks who fell for the virus hoax! It’s them, not us!”
Taking your life back is just the opposite. It’s taking full responsibility for a lifetime of poor choices and bad decisions. It’s owning up to your own shortcomings. It’s feeling sorrow, remorse and contrition for all the people you hurt in your past. It’s about blaming no one but yourself.
COWARDS NEED NOT APPLY
Taking your life back takes courage. It takes intelligence and determination. If you want a medal for bravery, this is where you’ll find it.
Taking your life back is not for the squeamish and that’s the primary reason why most people will never do it.
You won’t find any mask-wearers taking their life back. You won’t find the gloom-and-doomers doing it. It’s much easier for them to lie down like cowards and say it can’t be done, to curl up in a fetal position and cry, “We’re all gonna die! There’s no hope for anyone! Humanity is doomed! Boo-hoo-hoo!”
You could make an argument that the entire virus hoax is designed to get people NOT to take control of their lives; to submit, to surrender, to become part of the herd, dependent on authority to tell them what to think and how to behave.
Taking your life back is probably the most subversive thing you can do, and the thing the hoax-pushers fear most of all.
THE MIND/BODY/SPIRITUAL CONNECTION
Taking your life back is a three-part process. It consists of reclaiming your health, reclaiming your ability to think, and reclaiming your spirituality.
One of the reasons why most people can’t think for themselves is due to their brains and bodies being overloaded with toxic chemicals. That’s what happens when one consumes processed food and breathes polluted air. The first step in taking your life back is to detox your body of all the junk, all the chemicals and harmful substances you’ve taken in. It’s not easy and it could take years, perhaps even a lifetime, but you have to start somewhere.
Here’s one way to begin: buy yourself an inexpensive juicer, load up your fridge with organic fruits and vegetables and go to town!
The same process is needed for your mind. You need to detox your brain from all of the nonsense you’ve heard and read throughout your lifetime. All of the bad advice you’ve been given, all of the sinful companions you’ve listened to and allowed to influence you. You might need to purge almost everyone out of your life and start anew.
In addition to detoxing your mind, it has to be fed properly. The food you give to your mind is just as important as the food you give to your body. You need good books, classical music, stimulating conversation, and positive thoughts. Most people engage in none of those things. You can be the exception.
Spend time in nature, around animals and young children. A child’s smile can take loads of stress off your back.
Take long walks. Use the time to unwind, relax and listen to what God is telling you. He’s been talking to you all these years, perhaps you haven’t been listening.
As you work on reclaiming your health and intelligence, you must also reclaim your spirituality. For some people, this is the most difficult step of all, and the main stumbling block is pride.
Believe me, it’s humbling to discover that all of the Bible stories you were taught in Sunday school are actually true, that all of those old priests and nuns were actually right after all.
There was a television show a few years ago called My Name is Earl. The lead character made a list of all the people he wronged in his life and set out to contact them and make amends. I suggest you do the same.
Remember the old atheist in the foxhole story? When the bullets start flying, the atheist becomes a believer real fast. Don’t wait for the actual bullets to fly, reclaim your spirituality now, before it’s too late.
Begin an immediate program of daily spiritual reading. If you need book recommendations, let me know. I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
TAKE YOUR LIFE BACK TODAY
I know for most people how frightening this all is. But here’s some good news: once you begin, once you take those first baby steps towards taking your life back, a lot of those fears simply melt away. They disappear, never to return.
Sure, we’re going through tough times. No one denies that. But those that survive, those that get through the darkness and into the light will be those of sound body and mind, those with a connection to God. You can be of the few that make it. With a new year on the horizon, this is the perfect time to start. I believe in you. I know you can do it.
